NEW Project:
FLAPPER NECKLACE
 |
I have been watching Downton Abbey again (up to the third season now), and am loving the beaded flapper necklaces worn by the ladies of the house, just marvellous. With winter hitting, this style of necklace is great to go over merino's and tunics for a fab look without a lot of weight and for a reasonable cost.
Black is very versatile and will go with anything - I have sacrificed my black ones for the shop display this month!
Popping in some colour is a great modern look, you can see my green and black version below. Or, like Kerry, you can go mad with pearls!

Trinket Earrings
Acknowledgement: Deborah Roberti, Around the Beading Table, USA
This simple and lovely earring is a pleasure to make and most
effective. I am currently watching Downton Abbey as I bead and
it reminds me of something Lady Mary would wear - although her
version would be black!
Materials required: 4mm Swarovski Pearls and Crystals, size 11
see beadss, earrings hooks or studs, 4mm jumprings.
Please note that Silamide is just fine to use for this project, and
a size 12 beading needle will also be required.
