Our freshwater pearls are made in China and come strung for sale on a 40cm strand. You will need to restring your pearls after purchase. All our pearls are dyed to get the wonderful colours, but are well colour fast. We recommend that you gently roll the darker strands in a damp paper towel, then a dry paper towel, to remove any residual dye from the production process. We run pearl stringing classes and tuitions at our Point Chevalier shop or you can purchase pearl stringing silk (needle attached) in our Threads section of the online shop. Alternatively, you can string your pearls on softflex, incorporate them into sewing projects, or mix and match with glass and semi precious beads.
